Deciduous: Larch (Larix sp.), Oak (Quercus sp.), Gingko (Gingko).

Coniferous: Larch (Larix sp.), Pine (Pinus sp.), Juniper (Juniperus sp.).

You will note that I listed Larch in both categories. This is because it is a deciduous conifer. On the other hand, not all broadleaf trees are deciduous either.

Deciduous trees extend into arid regions along stream banks and around bodies of water.e.g. oaks, beeches, birches, chestnuts, aspens, elms, maples, and basswoods (or lindens) are the dominant trees in mid-latitude deciduous forests.

Coniferous are comprised, in general, of cypresses, junipers, firs, pines, spruces, larches, hemlocks and yews.

e.g. :Abies grandis (Grand fir); Abies lasiocarpa (Subalpine fir); Pinus mugo Mugo pine).
