Or will it be like it is now,full of filth and only the good gone away into heaven?

God will re-establish the earth and make it His kingdom.

I do not think (based on the Bible) that it will be totally destroyed, or if it is God will restore it.

The Literal earth is to remain forever..Ps. 104:5 "He has founded the earth upon its established places; it will not be made to totter to times indefinite." Ps. 119:90 " Your faithfulness is for generation after generation. You have solidly fixed the earth, that it may keep standing." Ecc.1:4 " A generation is going and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite."..the bible says at rev. 11:18 that God is going to bring to ruin those ruining the earth!..the symbolic earth ...wicked human society is to be destroyed. 2 peter 3:7 rev. 19:17,18,20 ..21:1Jer. 25:31,33

The Earth isn't going anywhere. We are. God's purpose for the earth was clear when he put two perfect humans in a paradise. He intends for the whole world to be like that again.
