Don't be frustrated and always think positive. Check the classifieds in your area and/or surrounding areas for positions that interest you and for which you are qualified.
Check yourself (appearance, attitude, confidence) before you walk out the door in search of a job because that first impression is everything. Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
With the right attitude and positive focus you'll get a job soon. Keep your head up and don't give up!

Appears you are filling out applications where there is no job openings. Many organizations accept applications when they have high turn over of personnel, yet no current openings.
You may consider:
1. Focus your employment search to places with openings.
2. Ask the potential employer, when they believe they will fill the position.
3. Networking with family, friends, church, and etc. telling people you are in need of a job any leads will be helpful.
4. Searching for positions on line through your local Unemployment Agency. You do not have to be on unemployment to use their services.
5. Purchasing a few books on job searching and interviewing.
The following books are relatively cheap and I have recommended for years.
"Knock em Dead Resumes"
"Knock em Dead Interviews"
and a new book that is recently available 'Knock Em Dead 2007"

You need to research who IS hiring for jobs you are qualified for, and apply for those.
Your attitude shows in your question, by the way.
