Red Flags Help (RFH) is a non-profit organization that provides depression awareness through research and educational training programs to California school systems. RFH registration number as a non-profit organization is 65-1254327.
This organization is intended to help students, parents and school staff identify and respond properly to the signs of depression and related difficulties in early stages.
Red Flags Help organization desires to achieve a three-pronged approach with your assistance:
Train educators to utilize a matrix that identifies depression in children and adolescents.
Promote an amenable mechanism for depression discussion among school professionals, parents and depressed children and to find effective solutions.
Increase the level of awareness of children and adolescents' mental health and related difficulties to faculty staff, parents and the public in California.
The objectives of RFH will be successfully accomplished when educators, politicians, corporate leaders and the public support Red Flags Help mission synergistically.
Our long term goal is to increase the level of depression awareness through direct training, research, presenting seminars, symposiums, writing articles and books by scholars and clinical professionals. RFH would like to offer TV documentaries with the cooperation of the film industry based on the actual case studies of California students who have experienced depression difficulties. In addition, RFH is in the process of creating a video that would demonstrate the impact of depression and related issues on the lives of young students. This video will represent the challenges of students with diverse cultures in our unique state.
Red Flags Help is seeking the support of Social Workers, Health Workers, Foster Care, Police Officers, Probation Officers, Court Mandated Schools, Group Homes, Parent Groups, Park/Recreation Workers, Faith based Leaders, Nonprofit Community Outreach Workers, Educational Leaders, and students enrolled in higher education programs such as Counseling, Psychology, Teaching, Criminal justice and Health.
Hope this will inspire you. Good luck.

Check out the Adelphi houses. I think they're headquartered in Greensburg, but have a number of sites around the Pgh area.
