Unfortunately if not eaten in moderation all breads may lead to weight gain. But the best breads to eat are whole wheat and rye
Whole wheat- whole wheat is much higher in fiber *Fiber can help you lose or maintain weight because eating fiber-dense wheat bread helps you feel full.
Rye bread also has a lot of fiber in it.
Also, the low calorie breads are great. Instead of 120 calories for one slice of reg bread it's only 40 calories for one slice of diet bread. Wonder makes the best kind.

All types of breads can make you fat. I think the question is more of which one is more healthier. Go for the whole grain bread, sugar free bread if you are looking for the least amount of calories per serving. It is all about moderation. It is shown that white bread can skyrocket your glycimic index, which can make you fat. So basically just eat whole wheat bread either regular or sugar free (if you are looking for the bread with the least amount of calories). Hopes this helps.

Sorry, all breads are fattening. Whole wheat bread would be the healthiest for you. I don't eat bread myself, I think it tastes nasty,but I have noodles so I guess that counts as bread.

ANY bread can make you fat if you eat too much of it. lite whole grain breads are best. read the label to find out the portion size. you should eat 6 portions of whole grains every day.
