Depends on the situation. I had a boyfriend that i only spoke to 2 times a week and saw on the weekend. We were both very busy with work and i have kids.

I'm living in Britain for work right now and my SO is still in California, and we call each other almost every day. The time difference is annoying and if I want to catch him before he goes to work I have to call at like, 2:00 am, but we try and stay in contact.

when I lived apart from my bf I saw him every other day and then every day. Depends on what works for the couple. We were crazy about each other and still are. I haven't spent a day away from him in months! And I have no complaints.

I don't live with my boyfriend but I see him at 2 to 3 times each week. And I don't talk to him every day, but I do talk to him most days. It works for us right now. We don't require constant contact.

Then your boyfriend is freaking retarted, I think he's either not that into you, or maybe you should wait untill he has more time for you, or maybe he might have another on the side, whichever it is, if you two didnt start out as friends, if you went on a date, and started dating then yea, he is right, you dont want to smuther the flame between you guys with talking to each other all the time, make him want you............

Yes.. I do. I see my bf practically everyday but when I'm not with him.. he'll call to check in. It's great and normal
