Terrible How?! Too Light?, Too Dark?, Too Red?, Too Drab?. I Am Assuming It Is Too Dark Since You Want To Bleach It. You Can Bleach It- BUT, It Will Make Your Hair Very Light And A Little Dry. If You Bleach, Be Sure You Have A Good Conditioner And A Toner Ready (Try Clairol® BORN BLONDE No-Peroxide, No-Ammonia Toner) Available At The Local Beauty Supply. Good - Luck!

Hi
It would probably be better to use the bleach in the form of highlights. Bleach is such a funny substance that if it is not used properly it can cause the hair to break and that would be twice as bad as the predicament that you are now in. If you do decide to do the whole head check it frequently as it processes, every 15 mins is advised, just take a small strand of hair and wipe the bleach away with some cotton wool so that you can check the colour then re-aply more bleach if needed.

You have not said what your hair colour is, but it is not recommended to lighten dark hair to the point that it is white as this can weaken the hair considerably, Blonde or fair hair you can, within reason, but I do stress be careful how long you leave the bleach on your hair.

I hope this is of some use to you.

Hi Emma I'm sure it's not half as bad as you think, though no doubt you are feeling upset and annoyed with the results. And keep looking in the mirro and going grrrr.

My advice is to leave it for a few days and see how you get on with this new colour. It might be that you will come to like it.

What I would not do is have your hair bleached so soon after you have coloured it as you hair will be left in a really bad condition. And then you will feel like tearing your hair out believe me.

I bet you will wow them when you go out tomorrow you just wait and see. Condition your hair and style it in the normal way. And in the morning you will feel brand new.

You can either let it fade or have it stripped. This is a process in which all the color is taken out of your hair. It's then left basically white and you can color it whatever color you want. It's kinda hard on the hair though, it will be left a little dry. You should definitely have this done at a salon and not do it yourself though.

does it look terrible because of the color or because you did it yourself? if you dont like the color, im guessing you wouldnt like yourself when it was bleached because bleached hair (depending on how dark your hair is) can result in platinum blonde hair which doesnt always look great. i usually dont die my hair but if i wanted to and couldnt get it done professionaly, always start at the roots and separate your hair when you dye it. then do the middle and ends or youll have dark roots.

good luck =]

just re color it . a shade darker and the same tone . if you colored it golden blond , stick to a golden tone , a beige blond , beige , ash blond ash . if you mix tones you get another color .such as golden and ash mixed with each other gets you an ugly green ...... good luck and next time check with the 800 number on the back of the box before using it . the people will help you and if you bought the wrong color you can exchange it for the one they suggest .

bleaching hair thats been dyed once normally looks worse, and makes your hair very hard to style and manage. trying finding a medium brown color and dying your hair that color.
then dye it blonde in about 2 months. give your hair some time to heal after each color application...

well, it it's blonde, it already is bleached. They make a hair stripper, which turns your hair ugly, but removes most color, it helps you get a better blonde. i would put a darker color back over it.
