Buddhists will never say that the Buddha healed them. Maybe they could say that it was by the virtues of the Buddha that had helped the sick to reflect upon his qualities and that helped him/her to cure of his diseases with one's own effort rather than anything else.
The differences between the names of Jesus and Buddha? Check their spellings :-)

Because it wasn't Buddha who healed them. The healing is the result of the design of what took place to make the healing happen. its a process, even if we don't realize it.
No one person, or God, takes the credit. Its the result of what has been done. Maybe, someones belief in the healing powers of God or Buddha is important for certain people to heal. I don't know.

Jesus and Buddha were both prophets of 'God' or the Divine force. I say when my health improves that I followed my intuition and through the changes I made, my body healed itself. Which is quite miraculous if you think about it....

We don't see "miracles" in the same perception you have. The Buddha was simply a guy (prince actually) who simply realized the nature of things and was declared "The Awakened One", which translates roughly to The Buddha.
The name "Christ" and "Buddha" are similar, NOT exactly the same but similar.
