What are the main advantages of getting married compare being single?

There are no advantages. When you get married, it's because you love the person. When you start looking at Pros and cons, then you are not ready for marriage at all. Marriage is a commitment. Whether you are single or attached, both ways tehre are good as well as bad. You should be asking yourself what you want out of life. Some people are better off being single and they love it while some dont.

besides the fact that the person makes you complete
and that you cant possibly go on without him/her
marriage is just a decision by on the two
they are the ones who decide really.
example the man gives the female a ring, WHY?
ANSWER not because the ring is beautiful and its a gift but for the soul reason of showing the world that this female has been taken, but hey thats only my opinion.
there is a thin line there between being unmarried and married,the fact is after being with a man for a period of years wether or not you guys are married you still recieve stuff when separating.
the processes are both similar,
dis/ads
marriage=divorce=laywer
unmarried=separation
less untanglement dont you think?
anyway i like the idea of being married to the man i love.

I believe that the real reason for marriage is because Elohim wanted to populate the world and the only acceptable way to do this (have sex) is to be married. I think some of the biggest advantages of being married is knowing that you have that special someone who loves you and is always there, when you are single and dating you have to always wonder....

I personally think if you want to have kids, you should provide a steady and good environment for them. And I am sure 100 people will give me a thumbs down for saying this. But being married is the best thing for a child and a good environment (this is for the norm family, not the abuser or drunk).

Having someone to do things with on a regular basis, having companionship and love, having someone to share good times and bad times, having children, having someone other than your mom to make you chicken noodle soup when you are sick. That's just some of the things. Good luck and God Bless.
