my boyfriend and i have been together for a while now and we both are into trying different things. its gotten to the point where the sex is boring. we do different things and positions so thats not the problem. even when its basic its boring. have i gotten so used to amazing sex that its not so amazing anymore?

its seems like it isn't the sex that you're focusing on. there is a difference between into trying new things. and needing the excitement of exploration, and it sounds like you have the latter.
maybe i'm missing your point, but i think you need to find new ways to make sex new and exciting. maybe try different places? (locations, not holes :P ..or i guess that works too, whatever you're into!)

If your in love with your boyfriend the position, trying different things, or even basic should still be amazing because its a reflection of your love for each other.
Too many people ruin relationships because there looking for something new and exciting. They cheat on one or the other keep it spicy girl do what you love communicate with him.
