You do not have to enter your passport number in it, just type down "passport". I booked and purchased Air Asia tickets this way last week and no problem at all. They emailed me travel itinerary to print out and to show it when checking in.
Enjoy your flight.

I would assume passport number.
An identification # exists only for a Malaysia identity card and since Air Asia is based in Malayisa it asks for this by default. However, since you can enter any country for the passport, it makes sense that you enter the passport # as the identity card number

Technically you may - finished !!! fare business enterprise or first-type - no seasons, valid for a 300 and sixty 5 days, you may substitute dates as many circumstances as you like, it is likewise possible to return it and get carry of an entire refund in case you substitute your recommendations, however the cost would be like... 10 circumstances extra desirable than a the single of limited fare financial equipment type cost ticket(if he chooses to fly business enterprise, extra for first-type). limited ability - you may desire to repair the dates, differences are the two no longer allowed or allowed with a cost. Nonrefundable. There could be a call for for commute on specific days of the week; you have low, shoulder, intense seasons which might make certain the cost of the tickets, so the terrific venture to do is (except your uncle is somewhat spontaneous person) while he gets the assumption while he could prefer to flow to, to e book a cost tag a minimum of two weeks in the previous the commute date, as a results of fact there are additionally regulations on the stronger purchase for the main inexpensive financial equipment type tickets. wish this helped

If the airline is asking for that information, call and ask them your question.
