Israel is a very modern country, but in general when visiting religious sites, it's a good idea to dress modestly e.g., no short-shorts, halters, micro-minis, etc.

you need a bullet proof vest, guards, you should have a weapon, and, lets see, a tank would definitly be helpful to travel in.
