If they don't have to be Hindu, do they need to agree with Hindu beliefs, deities, etc.?

I follow the Ayurveda health philosophy and I am not Hindu. I don't think you would have to be.

AYURVEDA is an ancient Hindu science of health and medicine or a type of treatment, with herbs etc. It is attributed to Dhanvantari, the physician to the gods in Hindu mythology, who received it from Brahma. There is no need to take any Oath, agree with Hindu Beliefs, deities, etc., In India Government of India, Ministry of Health have a department for Ayurveda. Thee are some educational institutions and colleges for this medicine. Even without getting qualified some people practice this medicine, on hereditary experiences. -
