If someone tells you they "don't want to have a future with you", or they don't see you in their future, will you still date this person seriously and try to change his/her thinking?
My boyfriend is Russian, and he said something like this to me last night. We have been dating on and off for the past year and I am just wondering, "is he for real? or is it just because he doesn't like to predict future and said something like that?" It just made me very sad after he said that and I don't know why I need to continue relationship building with him if he doesn't treat me seriously. If I break up with him, (that I tried that before), would make me too heartbroken afterward because I really love him. Are there any suggestions out there? please?

Nope. I'd move on. Why waste your time with someone who isn't interested in being with you? And if you think you can hang around and change their mind, you're a fool.

Believe him when he says he has no interest in a future with you.
Gather up your dignity and walk away.
You cannot change his mind no matterwhat you do. If you keep trying this it will become very destructive for your self-esteem and he will loose respect for you.
Your self-esteem is more important than any man.
It doesn't matter how much you love him if he doesn't love you back!
You will like yourself a whole lot more if you accept the reality and give up on this man. Trying to make excuses for him is not going to work. There are no excuses, only truth!

You don't need someone in your life like that especially if he's not taking you serious. Women is more emotionally then men and men takes more time to be more mature than women. He shouldn't have said something like that to you because he probably might make you think you're not doing anything right in the relationship to make him feel that way towards you. You need to find someone that will treat you better with respect and love that you deserve. If he's not serious about you and just rubbing stuff in your face like that then you don't need him because you can do better but if you put up with it I guarentee you that you're not going to be happy at all no matter how much you try to make him change his mind about it....you have to think about it because thats just ridiculus what he said and you're going to feel stupid that you're trying to change his mind. Don't let love fool you because thats one of the main things that can hold u back and it's going to be hard for you to let go....

well if someone says that to me and i felt to have a future with that person. that would be heartbreaking. i wouldnt try anymore. i would move on.
if a person sees some quality in you that they want in their future...they feel it inside and that's love. thats when they say I want to spend the rest of my life with you, getting to know you.
