MY sister's toddler son had a temp of 107 once. The PED just gave her instructions over the phone. MY daughter had 103.5 with a seizure (common in tots). The Old "OMG! 105???" Isn't the standard anymore.

Well fevers depend on the person and the age. Some people run a little higher or lower than "normal" but it is said that 98.6 is a "normal temp" so with adults it is said a Fever is anything over 99.5 ( according to a nursing book) and for children a fever is anything over 100 ( according to the same nursing book).... And it states a temperature that is too high is anything over 102. It states that a fever of "emergency room status" for a child under 5 is a fever of 105 or higher... - I hope your child gets better and I hope this helped! - good luck !

Why do people ask these questions, here? ASK A TRAINED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, FOR GOD'S (AND YOUR CHILD'S) SAKE! CALL THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND ASK THE NURSE WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE FOR GOD'S (AND YOUR CHILD'S) SAKE!

I see answers on here ranging from 100 to 107. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO TRUST YOUR CHILD'S LIFE TO THIS WEBSITE?
