I thought the ending was a bit disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I love the show. But I've been waiting for this epic battle between Sylar and Peter for a while now and it ends so quickly. They didn't even get to show the various powers they absorbed.

Then when Hiro appears, he just walks up and stabs Sylar with the sword without even a fight.

I think they could have done a better job for the ending....

I really liked the it. Before that episode I wasn't sure how they would possibly be able to do a second season, but I think they set it up pretty nicely. They have the new villian thats more powerful than sylar, plus sylar is still alive and now hiro is way in the past. The fight scene wasn't as long as I would have liked it to be, but I think they did a really good job for it only being an hour long episode. I kind of wish it had been 2 hours though

Peter will 'heal' himself after exploding and then fly back to Earth.
Nathan (hopefully) had the good sense to 'throw' Peter far enough into space to allow him to avoid the explosion and fly back to Earth as well.
Hiro going back to the 1600s may have something to do with the 'prequel' spin-off coming out, 'Heroes: Origins'. I figure the spin-off will go back 15 years in the past to when all this started and their will be a mostly teenage cast, except for younger versions of Linderman, Hiro's dad, Mr. (Noah) Bennett and all the adults. The cheerleader would just then be being born though so they'll just have a little doll dressed in a cheerleading uniform to play the infant baby...lol
But the season ended AWESOME! And they SAVED THE WORLD!!!! YAY!!!

I thought it was interesting when they ask Molly to find Sylar / The Bogeyman she said that there was SOMEONE ELSE out there she couldn't find who was WORSE than Sylar. And when she saw him he could see her back.....Hmmm Sounds like a clue to next Season to me!

The rest of the episode was pretty good I hope Nathan and Peter survive the explosion. I really would hate to see them both go.
And I agree with most folks Sylar went down kinda easy considering what he's capable of.

To be honest I thought there would be more to it than there was. I mean bigger, more action you know? There was this whole thing about Hiro killing Syler and how he was gonna need all this strength and junk to kill him and boom; he appears, runs him through and disappears! It was like, o.k.! I waited all this time for that? It was kind of a let down, but I'll watch next season. The ending was funny.

It was great but it left even more questions unanswered like:

Is Sylar, Nathan, Parkman dead?
Who is this guy who is worse than Sylar?
When is hiro going to do in ancient Japan?
Who saved Sylar?
What happens now?
Who is the new villain?
What are Charle's power and how was he able to talk to Nathan?
What is Nathan's mom in all of this? etc, etc, the questions go on and on.

I like it. I think it tied everything together pretty well, where all the heroes were there and had a hand in what happened. I like that Nathan redeemed himself. I also liked how it tied in with Peter's dream where he was going to blow and everyone was running away except for Nathan who was running towards him.

Well, I get the whole flying thing, but Nathan will die, because he can't regenerate.

But the Sneak Peek with Hiro was funny.

i loved it and think it's sad that as soon as nathan turns out to be nicer than i thought he was, he has to die. i also think that although hiro stabbed him, sylar is still alive.
