It rather hard to tell such a thing when it comes to a mix breed like that. There are some that will take more the beagle side of DNA and there are others that will take the Akita.

Paws of dogs are always a good way to tell how large a breed will be. They tend to be the type of thing a dog will grow into. In other words, large paws as a pup... you will have a large dog. Small paws as a pup... small dog.

Also, most med to large breeds of dogs are done growing around 2 years of age.

She will be somewhere between the size of a beagle and an akita.

She sounds like she is going to be smaller like the beagle.. 30 lbs is small for a 5 month old puppy, especially an akita.

Probably a medium sized dog (40-45 pounds) but you have no idea since there's two diff. sizes breeds. The paws are a good indication but not all the time. Just like a human who has a tall father but a small mother, and the son turns out closer to the mother's height, looks, attitude etc. You never no. SO probably not smaller than the beagle or larger than the Akita

I would have to say it depends on who's gene's are more dominate. Whom she more resembles. Akita's probally get around 60lbs where as a beagle stays around 20/30 or so.. So it just depends on which is a more dominate trait in her.. Good luck...

The average dog doubles its weight at 6 months. Id say about 60-65lbs.

I would guess no heavier than 45lbs and under 20 inches.
