It seems to me like a trap to get illegal aliens to turn themselves in and go back to there country. Then they will likely not be able to come back after 2 yrs like they are suggesting because they probably will not be able to pay the $5,000 fine to become a citizen. Sound like a good plan to me but deceitful. However, I think most illegal aliens are going to be smart enough not to believe the hype. LOL
What do you think?

It most definitly is a ploy to get illegal immigrants to come out of the shadows.

In my opinion, we should push harder to find illegal immigrants and then make them come back the proper way.

Yes, I noticed that flaw in the new immigration bill.
But considering what kind of lives these people were living in their countries to want to come over to the US for a better life in the first place, I'm sure many of them will find a way to come up with that $5000. Close friends and relatives that already have legal status would be happy to loan them the money b/ct they won't want to see them leave. Those people that are truly compassionate to the illegal immigrants' situation tend to be very generous and most illegal immigrants would not take it as a hand out and would be sure to pay them back for every last penny.
If this law passes, and most of these illegal immigrants end up coming up with that $5000, the lawmakers will either be trumped and confused as to why this wrinkle in the bill didn't cause more illegals to leave the country as they had hoped, or will be pleased with all the extra money they'll be cashing in on.

i've got examine the bill. i do no longer understand why human beings shop asserting it is going to stress racial profiling. Do you no longer think of that if an officer pulled over a white driver for an infraction and that driver in uncomplicated terms spoke Russian and could desire to no longer modern-day suitable identity that the officer could flow via a similar verification on legal status as a spanish-conversing driver who could desire to no longer supply suitable identity? of direction that officer could. the ingredient is genuinely everyone has to offer suitable legal identity, so how is that racial profiling? that's no longer. definite, the bill mirrors, to a point, our federal rules. So??? you won't be able to run around, hide at the back of, and pussy-foot the actuality that that's a longstanding regulation which you enter this u . s . legally and which you do no longer hire unlawful extraterrestrial beings. So what's the vast deal approximately SB1070? If our American supplies are going to get used up then i could lots somewhat they be used to try against unlawful immigration as detrimental to helping illegals. And the reason a great variety of SB1070 supporters say "examine the bill" is with the help of the fact absolutely everyone who has 0.5 a recommendations and any real American delight could see that that's a regulation in prefer of the american human beings. What could desire to in all possibility be so undesirable approximately that?

It's not a trap; it's a fine for being here illegally and a condition of becoming a legal citizen. They can certainly continue to be here illegally if they so choose; this is one avenue to become legal.

One version says they have to speak english as well; part of the "trap", or common sense ?

All illegals, right now, should be deported. That includes anchor babies of illegal mothers. A couple million to rent buses and drivers is far cheaper than the billions we taxpayers are paying every year. And I also believe that anyone aiding and abetting a known criminal should also be punished with fines and jail time. And for the uneducated people out there, all illegal aliens are criminals. Entering the USA illegally is a crime.

I think what most poeple are upset with is that illegal immagrints are getting noticed, and getting a reform bill when in fact, they are illegal and they should be shipped out. There should be no reform, and our laws should be forced. The same thing happned in the 80's. Its happening now. If it goes through again, it will only happen again. We need to stop it now. An illegal immagrint is a criminal and has no rights in america. 100% of illegal immagrints are criminals.

The bill is not a trap for the illegals, it's a trap for American citizens. For the illegals and the people who hire them, it's amnesty.
