I agree. She needs serious help. Maybe some day the voters in her district will get a clue.

You are right except for the fact that Pelosi is not a senator but a congressman (or woman). It is the likes of Jane Fonda who caused the loss in Vietnam, they were winning when public opinion demanded the end of the war. The Vietcong used people like that fool Jane Fonda to break the American will. And she is doing it again with the help of her other Hollywood treacherous friends. McCarthy might have had a point after all.

I assume you are not serious. But just in case you are, I will respond.
First off, there is no way you can compare what Nancy Pelosi did in Syria to what Jane Fonda did in Viet Nam. Those are two radically different things. Fonda was tacky and cheering on the enemy. Pelosi was NOT cheering Syria or voicing support for them. She was trying to initiate a dialogue. We may not like Syria, but if we can figure out how to have a civil relationship with them that will pay off.
Secondly, there is checks and balances for a reason. Group think is not productive. The Bush Administration may not believe in dialogue with Syria, but Pelosi is not a member of the executive branch. She is a member of Congress. She is not expected or supposed to be on board with everything the President says or does. Going to Syria is not humiliating the country, that is doing her job by having her own opinions.

Make no mistakes. Nanci Pelosi is not dumb, ill-witted or even an ounce of dilusional. What she has done in her tenure as Speaker of the House amplifies the true nature of the American Congress. Her visit was a stratigically executed event. Not with foriegn policy in mind however but domestically inherited. She is playing to her base ( Liberal America ) which is nothing new we just went through almost 14 years of it being done by conservatives. This is the scariest aspect of our government, one of the prodominate halves, have a foriegn policy which they fundementally believe to be correct even though most the world view is against it, and the second half will play any tune, pleasing to the ears of 18-40 year olds because they are the untapped resource needed to topple the first halfs voting base.

Sorry but History has proven Jane Fonda right...and visit Syria?...can you explain why you think Syria is an enemy...Syria is more an enemy to Israel alone rather than the western world...Pelosi was absolutely correct to start dialogs with Syria because you have a president who tends to demonize what he does not understand and dialogs is what counts...I would cheer the lady on if she decided to venture into Iran then maybe the people of your nation may realize that they are just like ourselves..being one who will not insult anyone for any question, I suggest you read and listen beyond CNN and Fox and venture out into the internet world to outlets from other countries to learn about the real story...Vietnam was supposed to be the beginning of communism throughout the peninsula and what happened?..Vietnam has become a friend of the US and a major developing country...anyway, good work Nancy, now let's send someone to Iran who is not as sick as Bush et al....you do have to understand one thing...the rest of us in the world see Bush as the "baboon"

She was doing her job. It got great media attention for Nancy and the Democrats and gave the world a solid indication that the new Democrat-controlled congress does not support the foreign policy of the increasingly isolated and irrelevant Bush administration.
We are aware that 65% of Americans are solidly in her camp in disapproving of Bush's foreign policy, right? This is a large enough majority to say that she is doing what Americans want, and thus her actions were quite appropriate. In the words of an exponentially more intelligent politician than anyone in the White House in the past 7 years, Sir Winston Churchill, "To jaw, jaw is better than to war, war." The best way to make your enemy into your friend is to talk to him, not to bomb him!

You do know that 3 Republican members of congress also went to Syria....right? You should be calling them out as well or are you just a hypocrite?
In addition Nancy Pelosi is not a member of the Senate.
You should really get an education before you start spouting off such nonsense.

Hmm... where is the banter for Miss Condoleeza Rice and her travels? Further, why does the USA still have staff from the Executive branch in Syria?

I agree. Ms. Pelosi's total consumption with trying to ruin the President's agenda has rendered her blind as a bat. She is willing to embarass this country just to ...instead she should try to do something genuinely constructive (like shore-up Social Security). And, while she's embarrasing this country she's also aiding and abetting the enemy (Islamoterrorism) while she's at it.
However, she is Speaker of the House.

dear hayseed, i honestly wish you idiots would just secede from the union already. all you do is whine about anyone in America who isn't Archie Bunker, bad mouth countries you don't know dick about, and otherwise wet your pants scared that the bogeyman is going to come and get you.
bush sux a*s at diplomacy so Pelosi had to step up and go do it herself. if you are still in the STUPID 28% then that is YOUR fault, not Nancy Pelosi's

Pelosi dissatisfied? somewhat you're dreaming. That female could in uncomplicated terms get dissatisfied if she lost her place in D.C., and her so-referred to as status in the common public eye. She is purely too overbearing and self certain to get dissatisfied over petty little issues.
