We're not puppets. We fall short of the Glory because we're men who have many faults. That's why Christ came to pay for our sins so we can go to heaven. We cannot make it on our own account. It's impossible.

It is usually a bad idea to use only one scripture to make decisions on any issue. Christian means "Christ like." Did these people live a life that was "Christ like"' to the best of their ability? Only God can answer that question. However there are some issues the bible makes fairly clear to us and with prayer and meditation the answers become clearer. Christ took no one's life, but gave up his own. Even though he was falsely accused. To answer any Christian issue, look for as many examples of situations like the one you are interested in at and see what Christ did or said in those situations.

OJ a Christian? You've got to be kidding! But, then again, the Bible says let ye who hath [committed] no sin cast the first stone. I can't throw it. Obviously, I am not as forgiving as our Father is. That's why his son died for our sins. I am a Christian but one of my sins is that I am judgmental and not forgiving of OJ. I even wonder if OJ has a conscience!

First of all murdering your wife out of jealousy or desire to rid yourself of her...is not what Christ was talking about here and I'm sure you know that.
We are taught in this verse that nothing...not even your family should come before God.
