not according to the christian doctrine. disagreeing with the current regime in any way shape or form is punishable by an eternity of torment. Honestly I dont think there's a punishment severe enough to warrant this... but maybe people accept it because they have no real concept of eternity, and what exactly that means.

Shedding of innocent blood, and denying the Holy Ghost are the two SINGLE acts which constitute jeopardy of eternal damnation. In fact they guarantee it.
Now, as for seeing a musical...not likely.
HOWEVER, if you're having concerns, there's probably better things to do with your time! The fact that you're asking the question gives rise to hesitations as to whether it's going to be for your good. Do something that will definitely make you feel good about Jesus and yourself. Visit the sick and the needy, maybe.
You don't have to see anything you feel uncomfortable with.

Only if you are dumb enough to believe the musical. It is one of my favorite examples of somebody who got it totally worng. After three years of traveling with Jesus, Judas had no clue who Jesus was,
that there is a difference between Christian love and sex,
that there is a difference between a kingdom won by love and a kingdom won by the sword
that there is a stength in serving, or a reward in sacrifice
When you remember that the musical shows (as Weber himself often states) the story through the eyes of Judas - who got it totally wrong - then it is not a problem.

Why would it? It's the Christian story. There's nothing in it that goes against the Bible's version of Jesus's life.
It's told through the eyes of Judas, so I think some of the things that Judas says are what some people get worked up about.

I don't remember "Jesus Christ Superstar" as being terribly variant from scripture ... except for the songs, of course. I don't guess it would jeopardize the fate of your non-existent soul anymore than watching any other Jesus movie.

No, only your lack of faith in Christ will do that.
However, if you want a preview of Hell, it is not a bad way to start... Also, watch "Ishtar" a few times while you are at it...

No, God will understand that you've been tortured enough by having to watch it in the first place.

No, but if you don't like musicals it will feel like 3 hours of living hell and torture.
