I lost 52 pounds by cutting down on my carbohydrates. I did not stop I cut them down. I continued cutting down gradually. I still eat them But not nearly as much as I used to. Being on a diet was so hard for me. My doctor suggested that I cut down. Bad carbohydrates turn to sugar and can cause anxiety, depression etc. It helps to cut down.
I did not drink one coke for 6 months. Not diet or reg. I wanted it out of my system.
You can work it out yourself. I didn't quit for diet I quit for depression.
don't be so hard on yourself or you won't make it. You will for awhile and be right back where you are. Just relax and literally walk it off.
Good luck Save your money for you. Don't pay someone else for your hard work.

Whatever you do, don't be in a hurry to lose it all at once using a diet that you can't stick to for a lifetime.
You need to develop and establish good eating habits as well as a habit of regular exercise- let one or two pounds a week be your goal. In a year, you will be at your desired weight, and you will have established a lifestyle you can maintain.
Diets where you only eat milkshakes or hard-boiled eggs or some other strict regimen will only build up the desire to go out and stuff yourself as a reward once you're at your goal- or when your willpower falters. If you get used to considering your eating habits as a whole you will find ways to enjoy what you're eating and still make healthy choices.
My wife has done this with Weight Watchers over the past few years and it worked out well. They have a sensible approach. She has lost 100 pounds and kept it off. I have made progress as well over the past few months.

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing impurities from your body. You get impurities from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The impurites get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the impurites. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! Parasite cleanse, then liver/gallbladder cleanse. Follow the 40-30-30 plan and get active. Exercising 3 times a week for 30 or minutes at something that makes you break a sweat. It takes time, but permanent weight loss takes time. Biofeedback to reduce stressors on the body that are creating the weight issues.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

no more pop. seriously that is going to help you cut about 15 pounds. THere are other options such as lemonade, frozen drinks, and orange juice. it takes a while but it works
go to the gym and change up your routine...
Add some more exercise to your daily routine. for example if you go to the gym around night... do something early in the morning like roller blade, ride your bike, run or just plain walk.
i love to eat too... trust me. but what i learned is to eat the right combos together. don't just eat all one food group mix it up and some foods you should not eat together.
drink more water in your day to keep you hydrated.
park further in the parking lot instead of up front so you can add to your exercise.
The last advice just beleive in yourself. the weight may not come off quickly we don't live in a perfect world... so just keep to your "YOUR" diet and you will see major results.

well..this is exactly the same problem I had..two years ago I was 167 pounds..and needed to work out more often and eat a whole lot better!..and I got the motivation part to do it because my wedding was a year from then..
So I started one part..the working out part..
then after I got that down..starting making changes in my horrible diet..I stopped eating lots of sugar..to splenda and sugar free stuff..started eating everything with very little cal. like lean cruisines and soup. I started drinking only water and lean sobies..you have to swap the fat to fat-free. and there are plenty of low fat nummy foods!
I am now 130..and been at that weight for two years. I love my new eating style...REMEMBER ITS NOT A DIET, but a lifestyle change..tell yourself that..another tip..if you do eat bad for one day..its OKAY..get back onto the train..and keep chuggin'!! good luck too u!
