It is at my hip and goes dpwn my leg it makes it painful to walk

the lower back can cause Hip pain, it also could be the hip joint. You need to see your medical doctor as soon as possible. No one else can answer your question but The doctor.

Get that looked at. I have ovarian cysts that cause some pain in my legs. Also, just recently, my back hurt a lot more than normal and when I went to the doctor, I had a kidney infection--the pain was on my left side and went through my hips.

it is most likely your sciatic nerve it plays all kinds of tricks on your legs and lower back have the same problem.i have caudal blocks done every3months through a doctor and have radiofreguency done also .
