Does God go around calling people stupid? Does Jesus?
So why would you, if you claimed to be saved, you already know the answer to this question. Arrogance is not of God, but humility and compassion for others sure is.

Depends on the context of the conversation...
If a Christian calls a non-believer stupid because that 'someone' is not saved, they are not following the Golden Rule (Do to others what you want them to do to you. This is the meaning of the law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets. Matthew 7:12 NCV-The Most Important Rule) I do not think a Christ-like person would say such a thing. That person would more likely explain his/her belief in the Bible and Jesus's Resurrection. Whether that 'someone' listens, is his/her choice. The Christ-like person has just served as disciple for Jesus. That is what I feel as a Christian. 8-)

I don't know if it's a sin, but it is rude and I'm guilty as hell. I don't mean to call anyone stupid, but sometimes it just happens. For that matter, just the other day I called another believer a stupid twit. I should probably work on this, huh?

I don't know that it's a "sin" to call someone who isn't saved but it isn't very polite. It's not the way God would want us to be.

We should not call people fools.
Only God can do that-- for even His word says that "the fool says in his heart there is no God" --but God tells us not to go around calling others fools.
Matthew 5:22
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Hmmm thats a good question
God calls us to be kind to one another and love our enemy and all that
So yeah I guess it is, well it is going against something God said very clearly many times
so I would say yes
