How do I stop OpenOffice Calc from capitalizing first letters?

Question

OpenOffice Calc has a mind of its own concerning capitalization.
If I enter x<1 it will capitalize the X.
If I enter x If I enter x it will capitalize it.
With multiple letters the first letter is usually capitalized.
I want letters left the way I enter them. How can I set that?

Go to Tools > AutoCorrect > Options tab and uncheck the box next to "Capitalize the first letter of every sentence".
