It might seem that way to some, but that's only because I make a distinction between personal experience and 3rd party accounts. I am willing to believe my own experience but doubt when someone else has the same experience.

It seems contradictory that I have a definition of god but support atheism. It seems contradictory that I strongly support gay rights but have never met a gay person I like.

Everyone who believes in the Bible's version of creation does. Some people don't realize there are 2 contradictory versions of creation in Genesis. The first has woman created from the mud of the earth along with man. The second has the woman being created from the rib of Adam. They are both in Genesis, you can read it for yourself. Of course, to me, that is just further evidence that it is a fable, but to each their own.

I appreciate the sanctity of life, but recognize that population control is necessary.

I could never have an abortion, and think it's a pretty sick thing, but that's millions of kids since Roe v. Wade who would have ended up on the street, in the ghetto, with no job, and 5 starving kids of their own.

One of the most contradictory things I see on here is "Love the sinner, hate the sin."

If I believed in two things that were contradictory, one of them would have to be false and I could not believe in it. My beliefs can only be seen as contradictory by other people.

I'm catholic ... which uses very little common sense and takes forever to change it's mind

I'm also a free thinking person that believes that there are many beautiful things in the world (ie: sex, certain indulgences, different customs and cultures), many of which the Catholic Church says is sinful and will send me to hell.
