The last couple threads I posted was asking what you believe when it comes to Biblical Stories, Science and History all books written by man to give us a picture of evidence in the History of our World.

One exception the Holy Bible written by man with the inspiration of GOD's word,

Bottom line is many of you believe in just what makes sense to you personally...IMO

Some of you might think President Kennedy was killed by Oswald as a lone assasin or some by a Conspiracy involving multiple persons.

Some might believe the Holocaust happened some might not
Some might believe Moses parted the Sea by GOD's hand some might think it was just natures way..

So isn't your belief and faith system really based upon on how *YOU* view evidence in history by who you personally choose to give credit and believe in, and who you choose not to?
.

So your amazing revelation is that your beliefs are determined by what you believe? Wow.

Belief and Faith is a matter of personal choice always.

I personally choose to try and base my belief system on scientific principals. But in the end of course it is a choice and a belief, but a least it is based on principals that seem to remain constant.

Where as religion is in a constant state of flux and change dependent on society and geography.

Not at all. Opinion, belief, and acceptance of reality are not the same things. You can have an opinion on Oswald one way or the other, you can deny or accept the reality of the Holocaust, and you can believe or not believe in the Bible.

I was brought up in a 94% catholic country so catholic views were never questioned and catholic teachings were never scrutinised.
I was told(mostly in school) what was what and that was it.

I actually think thats much better than a melting pot of faiths, each trying to take chunks out of each other.Everyone getting insulted.

I see no point made here at all. You asked for answers, then twisted the answers to suit yourself. I guess that is a point. Sly tactic. My belief system is my own and satisfies me. By your own hypothesis, yours is your own. Let's keep to our own, k?

You want us to assign the same validity to convictions as to arguments and evidence? Sorry, that unlearning curve is to steep for me.

Just like I guessed. You didn't even read all the answers you received.

Ignorance must be a wonderful, warm, amazingly beautiful bliss.

Yes. Now apply it to yourself. You chose what you'd believe, too!

If your point was to prove that you're an ignorant, persistently-annoying **** then yes, you've proven your point succinctly! :-)

Aside from that, you've proven nothing else.

Our reality is determined by our perception of it, thus the vicious cycle continues.
