Yesterday I had THE worst stomach ache all day long.........what makes causes stomachaches????

it depend on what did u eat last nite u got to watch what kind of food do u eat or for example if u eat hotwings and your chest start to burn that mean u got heart burn so i say just watch out for what u eat or u may b carrying a baby in the oven so go get check out

lots of causes ..
it could be a stomach or duodenal ulcer , due to stress or over taking over the counter medicines ..
it could be from the gallbladder , due to stone or infection ..
a bowel obstruction ..
appendicitis ..
but it depends on the character of the pain you had : colicky , sharp stabbing ..etc
and the duration , did you eat before the pain started , your medical history , bowel habits , questions that your doctor will ask to diagnose your pain ..

Stress usually, but I am finding that some medications can cause it also...and sometimes, as simple as a lot of gas bubbles...I take activated charcoal, in the case of the gas bubbles lol

Eating lots of food in a small amount of time - especially if its biscuits or cake or something sickley like that.
Also drinking lots of water usually makes me feel like my stomach is about to explode.
