As a citizen If I break the law I am punished. Why should we reward people who came into our country illegally with their objective? No back taxes and they get to stay. If I rob a bank do I get to keep the money after I get caught?

I AM WITH YOU ON THIS. I SWEAR, ANYTIME A US CITIZEN BREAKS THE LAW, WE ARE PUNISHED, FINED, JAILED, ETC. BUT IF AN ILLEGAL DOES THE SAME THING, IT IS PUSHED UNDER THE RUG AND THEY ARE PRAISED FOR TRYING TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR THEMSELVES. I SWEAR TO ME ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL. WE ALL NEED TO CONTACT CONGRESS TO LET THEM KNOW OUR OPINIONS AND TO NO SUPPORT THE AMNESTY PLAN CURRENTLY BEING DEBATED.

They should not be rewarded, they should be punished. They need to go home and reenter as honest citizens. It is a slap in the face to everyone who has come into this country legally and is in the process. And no more whining about the law breaking up families. That's what happens when a law is broken, a family is broken along with it. Ask any other criminal what his actions have done to his family.

Hell no if we tresspassed on someones property we would be punished not rewarded. What is this crap about them getting off with only paying $5000 to become a citizen. It is as if the government does not know what ILLEGAL means. I say deport as many as possible.
