That's easy the Dem want all the criminal illegal aliens here so they can vote for the give away Dem. The Rep, big business . They both have been payed off. They could enforce the current laws. But that means that they have 2 do something that would pis= off some bleeding heart voters. So do nothing or make it look like the other side did it . They could care less about the American citizens or the over all propriety of the USA it all about them there all rich so it won't affect them no how. Just my thought.

Dont let the goverment fool you. They are not enforcing the law now. Why would they stick to the new plan on enforcement? They will not be charged $5,000 becuase they are poor and they wont be able to eat! They will not have to go back becuase they have an infinitly renewable visa. So they are not illegal and they will never have to become a citizen. They will have immediate access to welfare, medicare and social security even though they wont have to pay back taxes. What a wonderful country we live in. I wish I were illegal. The benefits are great!

We don't, and that is not what the proposed law does. The proposed law provides a means of rationalizing a situation in being: there are lots of people here illegally, but they are working, paying their taxes, and raising their kids just like anyone else.

No, this is not a victimless crime...yet human beings do no longer seem to get who the genuine criminals are! the genuine criminals are the companies that invite the illegals right here, and each so often smuggle them right here merely so that they might make the main of the cheap hard artwork! the genuine criminals are additionally the government officers who enable this to proceed, or perhaps reward the companies for exploiting this source of inexpensive hard artwork, while the government ought to instead be penalizing them for it, and advantageous them for doing what's nice. the genuine criminals are additionally the government of Mexico, for permitting circumstances to be so undesirable, that the individuals sense that they must take such drastic measures for the promise (commonly fake) of an excellent way of existence! the full equipment is corrupt, however the illegals themselves are merely as lots sufferers as a results of fact the working type human beings indexed decrease than are! enable us to concentration the blame the place it particularly belongs, and artwork from that direction to sparkling up this concern. *sm*

The wise heads in Washington have decided they can register 12 million illegals, give them criminal checks, verify their ID, issue them new cards, collect their $5000 on an installment plan, monitor whether they have crossed back over the border, then returned. Sounds like a simple plan, eh?

Laws change when the economics force them to be looked at.

In the current case, we are dependent upon illegal workers in many facets of American life.

Take a lemon. You can pick them up for 10 or 15 cents each.

Now, if we had to pay Americans minimum wage, no one would take the job, so we'd have to pay them more. We'd have to give them benefits. And we'd have to listen to the fruit-picking union.

How much do you think that lemon would cost?

How much do you think a home built in Houston would cost?

Illegal or not, the economic benefits are real.

Here is an emMR. PRESIDENT, I'M HEADED TO MEXICO

Dear President Bush:

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and dont enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.
Thank you so much for your kind help.

Sincerely,
David M. Bresnahanail I got from a friend... its so true!

THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION.. ALL OF THE BS OUT THERE THAT WE NEED REFORM!! WE DON'T NEED REFORM. WE ALREADY HAVE THE LAWS IN PLACE. WE NEED TO ENFORCE THE LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY. TO ME ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL. THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.. NOT THE UNITED STATES OF MEXICO. EVERYONE SHOULD CONTACT CONGRESS AND TELL THEM TO STAND UP AND SUPPORT THIS COUNTRY AND TO NOT SUPPORT THE BS AMNESTY PLAN WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING DEBATED.
