If you get on a schedule and spend 15 min each day cleaning up your mom will not nag you anymore. I'm a mom and my daughter knows if she does this there will be no nagging. Try breaking your room into 5 zones and clean each one for 15 min each day. you'll never spend hours cleaning again, promise.

She probably looks in your room AFTER she says you can watch TV. Try making sure your room is clean everyday and act grownup about it. This way, your Mom will nag you less and probably be more flexible and say YES more to other things if she sees that you are acting responsible. Makes sense?

If the nagging bothers you then why don't you clean up your room before she starts?
Saves you the headache, and her the nagging...trust me, nagging takes a lot out of you!

I have the same problem! Well, had. Now I wanna clean it myself because I live by myself and a clean room helps me sleep better and feel better, so I do it for myself, not for mom.

clean your room, keep it clean and then you wouldn't have to worry about your mom nagging you....its more fun to live in a nice clean room, and if you made an effort daily to keep it that way it really would not be hard chore to do it

just clean your room. your mom wont nag you and maybe if you contributed around the house, cleaning **** other than your room, then she will even give you stuff and realize you appreciate her.
