There is no way it's going to be as good as Bruce Almighty. The whole Noah's Ark gimmick I saw in the commercials is going to be dopey, I'm sure. Hoo boy, animals = instant entertainment, right? Wrong (read: Dr. Dolittle movies). I don't think even Carrell can save a plot like that.
To people talking about it being 'ungodly:' You're the same kind of people who would watch the Passion of the Christ, a movie more gratuitously gory than most horror films, and say it's great, bring your kids! *rolls eyes*

I think it looks funny. I don't know that it has anything to do with the Bible, except taking liberties with the Noah story. I loved Bruce Almighty and thought it had a really good message to it. I hope they do as well with this one.

I think Hollywood is running out of material.... Making sequels to anything that has ever been made...
Anyone else notice that this is the summer of the three-quel? Almost every summer movie this year is a Part III - Shrek, Pirates, Spider-man, etc.

Ehh, i wasn't a fan of the first one.... Steve Carrell is hilarious, but I don't think i'm going to waste my time with this one. Maybe when it comes out on DVD i'll give it a rent, but nothing more than that.

I don't think it will be as good as Bruce Almighty, but it mght be worth putting on my Netflix rotation once it hits DVD. I sure it will still have a good laugh or two.

Steve Carell's funny. I hope it has pandas, because I love them to bits. I'll probably rent it or watch it on On Demand.

I thought the next time the earth was destroyed, it was supposed to be done with fire...not with bad sequels.

'Bruce Almighty' was pleasantly amusing, and since Morgan Freeman (and who better?) is still God in this one, I'll probably see it.
