it's starting to get a little embarrassing....
it reminds me of Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin...."I know he'll be here next year".

LOL - good analogy.

but to answer the question, no, they will just keep saying things like "it's all relative" "we can't understand god's time frame" etc etc

Not all Christians believe the world will end any time soon. I, for example, am conviced that the end is a long, long time off. At least several hundred years to go. Maybe even a millenium or more.

So the answer is no, Christians like me will continue on like normal, going to school, working, etc...

For now the world ends for almost everyone on earth within 100 years of their birth. Some are here a bit longer but for now all die.

I think you all are missing the more relevant point. Rather Jesus comes back today, tomorrow or 1,000 years from now, the fact of the matter is we all are going to die and stand before God in judgment. So when this age ends or whenever you die I just hope your ready when you stand alone in judgement. Excuses will not be relevant then.

LOL @ the Linus reference....

Hopefully, within a few centuries, there wont be any Christianty left..... And if there is, Im certain their short term memories will have them still making predictions...and still failing in them.

Are you planning to be here centuries from now?If not
how could you possably know what took place 1 second after u
die?or for that matter (when)the end does come, and you are still
here, what will you say just before you are destroyed?WHOOPS.
I guess Im not as smart as I thought I was...1Cor.3:18,19...
"Let no one be seducing himself:If anyone among you think he is wise in this system of things, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness
with God;for it is written:'He catches the wise in their own cunning.' ..............

If God himself came DOWN FROM HEAVEN, showed himself to the world so that everyone KNEW He was God, and He then announced that all the great religions texts...Bible, Torah, Koran etc....were ABSOLUTE LIES from beginning to end, Christians would STILL believe in the Bible word for word.

What does that tell you?

This world ends for each one of us when we die.

In human chronological terms, it happens at a different time for all of us.

But in eternal terms, it's all one big giant Now.
