So i made an eharmony profile. I felt my photo was probably hosing me, so I tried placing it on www.hotornot.com first. My score was 8.7 based on 200+ votes. I know this appears good, but why don't you look at the guys who score ~ 8.7 on there? They definitely aren't hot. The "hot" guys all have scores 9.5+. I'm definitely not "hot", but I certainly don't think I'm UGLY. I mean, I'm tall (6foot), fairly muscular, and 175lbs. I also have a pretty good job 73k/year @ 23years old.

So now on eHarmony, every time i attempt to contact a match using the guided communication (which is asking pre-defined questions) they then "close" communication with me. Basically flat out rejecting me. A LOT of women also "close" me without me contacting them first. They just see my profile and block me from contacting them!

So what gives? Do all of these girls desire ultra "hot" guys? Or do they just think i'm disgusting.

My yahoo messenger sn is magnificent_bumba if you want to see my pic, IM me.

you sound like a fairly decent guy. why post yourself on the net? Not that there is a problem with it but maybe you need to go out and meet woman that you can physically see and can see you as well. Try going out with your buddies and see where that goes. But the woman who reject you aren't for you in the first place

Perhaps it's because you care what 200 people on hotornot.com think?

People have to be paying members on eharmony.com to even continue, so that may be one cause.

Your userID, if it's the same as on here, may do you disservice as well and magnificent_bumba doesn't help either.

If you have the belief that you are better than people give you credit for, sometimes people don't think you need someone to love you because you have yourself. Perhaps being more real and less emphasis on the exterior is in order.

well i am not good on the computer and internet so if you would like you can go to my profile and email me and maybe then i can help you i do know that people that only go for looks are losers, there is more to a relationship than looks and i am so glad that i instilled this in my children and that my parents instilled it in me. good luck and when the time is right you will meet your partner

dude ive been sniffing around the questions you have asked, you are a real weirdo, why dont you just go ask all those hot paralegals out, if they are as stupid as you say they are then they are bound to fall for your money. at least you wont have to worry about how ugly your picture is. why dont you just go hump on that car you wont shut up about! it wont complain

Women are evil creatures. I am one, I know. Keep trying, you'll find someone. Is there something creepy in the picture or in your profile? It may not be you, it may be how you present yourself online.

Sounds like your profile is far to cocky. You may just have to wait for a cocky female. Good luck.

women reject you because your describing yourself as all these positive things, and it just makes me think why do you have to date or find someone on the internet, i think it is rather sad, to me dating online suggests you have no social skills as a person if you have to meet someone over the internet or a dating site.

but thats just my opinion anyone else is entitled to their just as i am.
