In cause of human history, older generation don't eagerly handover the baton of leadership to the generation that follows them after-they always engaged in a broad-brush battle to stymied the desires of the generation next. This year presidential election is no different--they and their minions are canvassing for a sit-tight tactic by engaging in a crusade of wearing the mask of fear.
It is time for us to do what are forebearers did at their time--that is, from passive compliance to active participant in the great enterprise called America. Let us join Senator Obama in bending the arc of justice to its rightful place. Let us be the generation that bridges the gap of empathy and brotherly love. Let us be the generation that understands that common sense and common honesty have fair play, and they do set things to rights.

Nice oratory, the only problem is that he is still a member of the ruling party. He won't change anything because his party won't let him. Even if he has good intentions, which I doubt he or any of them do, he won't be able to change. We need leaders that are not part of the system, we need real change. Unfortunately, we've allowed the parties in charge too long and cannot remove them from power without the use of force.

I am all for empathy and brotherly love, fair play and common sense, honesty and justice.

But I simply do not agree with Senator Obama's ideas about running the country. If he wins, I will support him whole heartedly, but I prefer someone more conservative in my personal opinion.

You are very eloquent however, I do not support the campaign of Senator Obama. I prefer to have officials in office who want to take our country in the direction that will support our families, uphold the Constitution, value life and move our economy toward a positive future. I support a candidate who will motivate people to work for their money, not to expect it to be handed to them, to empower the people, not encourage them to be victims of the system. I will support a candidate who will put the welfare of the citizens of this country above the welfare of illegals. I can almost guarantee, that candidate will not be a Liberal.

Am I ready to join Senator Obama in turning the page?

Only if it reads "The End".

He's a socialist in a weak disguise. I'm not even interested.

I was with Obama untell I seen his Faith in Politics, video on his website. He explained how his faith would drive his political agenda, without interfearing with current constitutional laws. Which I am for. It wasnt untell he would quote scripture, spin it to his liking, and flat out rebuke the word of God. Keep in mind, when an atheist does this, it does not affect me, the way it does when a self proclaimed Christian does...Not even scripture that He himself believes in, is not without spin to fit that of his political affliation. That to me emplifies how unbearing Obama truley is.

I didn't bother to read your statement. Obama is a Liberal. He is wrong on almost everything his handlers tell he is for. He will NEVER be nominated. Liberalism is destroying America. I would not vote for a drug snorting crack smoking halfrican Liberal.
