The Bible predicts famine in the Great Tribulation. It could be that "IF" this current theory about there being a shortage of honey bees, we will not have pollenized crops. But after having been 'scrared' into thinking that the Evironmentalist extremists are right about even man made catastrophy, we find that they are not right. Ever since Carl Sagan's article about what would happen if Saddam Hussien lit the oil fields was found to be sheer fantasy ( because he did and we didn't have the terrible effects that Mr. Sagan predicted), we have been experiencing doulbled efforts by evironmentalist hysteria.

So my question is: "Does this current honey bee scare seem to be another one of those Evironmentalist hysterical attempts at influencing public thought?"

I'm not denying anything IF you read the statement. What I am doing is asking a question about something specific. Intelligent answers are hopefully going to come, eventually.

I think pollination will happen some other way but, it is a concerning issue. We cannot go on forever thinking nothing is ACTUALLY happening to the planet. As sin increases -- natural disasters increase.

It cant be a scare. Because its happening in lots of different countries. I dont live in the US and there were many reports of bees dying here. So much so that people are having articles about it all over the place discussing how to combat this weird disease or whatever it is thats killling the bees.

I say, time will tell.

But with the growing need to save water, I dont know what our future will be like to be honest.

It's not a "scare," it's a real thing.
And it's got an explanation for it that doesn't require the existence of a mythological supernatural being -- most likely it's being caused by human activity.

This isn't a hysterical attempt to influence public thought, it's a real phenomena that's being studied to discover the cause.

Talking about "end times" -- *that* is a hysterical attempt to influence public thought. :)

Peace.

Yes. Every scientist in the world is in a global conspiracy to deceive mankind with the hopes of distracting us from the inevitable End Times...

It intrigues me that when one scientist makes one mistake, you people latch onto this as evidence that science is wrong. Well, I can give you a list of over 40 failed End Times prophecies - yet you continue to beleive the End is Near. Interesting.....because I view End Times prophency as being hysterical attempts at influencing public thought....

I am unsure of the enviromental question given the possible consequences it's understandable you will have alarmist and extreme views. As for the biblical part, we already have famine in the world. A consequence of people's greed and the effects of global warming (scorched earth policy) resulting in more and more arid areas.

Yea right!!!! Those liberal enviornmentalists are crazy,

*sarcasm*

The honey bee situation is something to be concerned about.

I saw a film of Ted Haggard at Jesus Camp and he said "go ahead rape the land, use all the oil, cut down all the trees, we won't be here anyway."

When the honey bees disappear, be afraid... be very afraid.

I think man tampers with the environment too much. This is the only planet we have to live on. Mess it up, and we mess up the future of humanity.

The Bible promises an end but also a begining. My belief because of my faith is not matter what the end is or how it comes aboout those who are with God and not against will not have the same suffering. When all is said and done we will have everlasting life where all is beautiful and peaceful. where there is no pain and suffering. God promises us all this if only we will believe with all of our hearts wand walk, worship, and do his works. I for one am looking forward to it.

I've never heard of this honey-bee shortage. Your theory could possibly be right. But I doubt it.
