well, hypothetically speaking, if your nose begins to bleed a lot, like really thick blood with mucus in, and you throw up blood, is this normal after a coke binge? i was just wondering...
say for example, someone did a load of cocaine last night, who had never really done any before?
just curious. i don't want full medical details of anything, just tell me if this happens to everyone. if it's happened to you, or your friends or anything
cheers

if the blood is coming from your mouth (as in, your nose bled and you snorted back the blood and in came out of your mouth) then that is normal.
however, if the blood is coming from your stomach, and you actually are throwing it up, then that is not really normal or healthy. get it checked out.
p.s. nobody believes that this is 'hypothetical.' we all know it is you who did the coke
not very subtle, was it?

Well, the bloody nose and thick mucus is perfectly normal. I have thrown up blood before, but I've been told that it's really probably not a good thing. Especially if you've never really done it before, and you did a lot, your body is just freaking out. It'll get better after awhile, although I stopped using for over a month once and my nose still bled the whole time.
And uh, tell your "friend" to be careful when bingeing. There are more than enough painful side-effects and possibly fatal ones from going over your limit. Set limits for yourself, don't do too much. Best wishes.

I wouldn't say normal, because that's gotta be some heavy bingeing to vomit blood. If you're gonna do it, do it in moderation. You can die from too much, so just chill out and enjoy a little at a time!
Of course, you could NOT do it, and then you wouldn't have to worry about bleeding out of random orifices...

No, not to everyone. Only if too much is done, your "friend" probably gets nose bleeds anyway without the drug. Your "friend should be very careful, if they have weak blood vessels in the nose, they may have weak vessels around the heart.
Good Luck.

Snorting coke dries out the nasal passages and the sinuses. It's very easy to get a nose bleed. The dryness of the nose and rubbing it when it's numb can cause the nose to bleed too.

Very normal !! Coke thins the lining and irritates the blood vessels in your nose !!! Blood can drain down the back of your throat so when you throw up it looks like it must have come from your stomach !! It didn't !! If your throwing up your really using to much !!

Normal for your nose to bleed, not normal to throw up blood.

This is not abnormal. The throwing up of blood would be due to sniffing and swallowing blood. That is assuming there is no preexisting reason for the stomach to bleed.
