is it ok to call your GF durring office hours?

I call my GF at her job all the time. She works in a very busy office, so she tries to worka and talk to me at the same time.

I always feel like i should not be bothering her.... my job is real slow, so I have the time to call her.

It is called work for a reason. She should be working, not talking to you. What if she messes up at her job because she is distracted by you.

Why do you call her at work?

Are you insecure or something?

Anyways if you stop calling her you will give her a chance to miss you. You can't miss someone if they never seem to go away.

Personal phone calls are generally discouraged in the work place. You not only expose your girlfriend to the risk of a reprimand, you also hinder her performance at work which is going to reflect on her performance evaluation in the future.
Besides, having a job that is "slow" is no excuse to go and "bother" other people at their respective places of employment.

If she is busy at work you shouldn't call her all the time. It will look bad on her and she has to concentrate on work. There's time to play and then there's time to be responsible. You can call her during her lunch break. But what do I know, I just got into work and look at what I'm doing. lol. But in my defense, my bosses are all on a business trip and I've already completed everything I have to do. lol. I love lame excuses!

It depends on the type of office and how casual it is, and also on whether or not your girlfriend wants you to call her while she is working, It could break her concentration. In most offices, calling during office hours is unacceptable, but in some, a comfortable, casual enviorment, it is ok. Tell her to ask her boss, or else she could get fired.

she doesnt' say that because she loves to have you around but in the meanwhile she needs to work! I think a sweet little short call is good enough around the mid morning , and remind her to call you back at her lunch time.( not yours)

you can get both you and her in trouble.. if she has a cell phone then call her duing her break or at lunch. the window for calling maybe very small because she may not have the same break schedule as you do and in the long run bosses won't be looking over shoulders....makes it easyier all round !!!

but if her boss is not that strict...i guess you don't need to worry anything...

to be honest my bf calls me too even i'm at work but we never been that busy here at work...you see while i'm working i am in the internet with pay...lol

Just call every once in a while to tell her that you love her (tell your gf you are thinking of her) and ask her how her day is going. Girls crave this sort of thing.

It really isn't appropriate to be calling during her work time. Perhaps you could arrange to call her during her breaks, or lunch time. Remember, she is being paid for her time by somebody else...and it is her responsibility to tend to business, not to be doing personal stuff.
