Why are there so many different religions?
Scholars from each religion will read the same verse and interpret it differently.
So, which is correct? Protestants, Catholics, Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Jews, Buddhists?
If Protestant, which of the protestant religions are correct? Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of God, Assembly of God?
Please don't say he who believes in the trinity, or that Jesus Christ is the son of God....please give specific answer...which of the above religion is correct and which is wrong

Jesus Christ is the correct way and the holy bible is the word of God and the only doctrine you should listen to. You don't need scholars you don't need denominations you need Jesus.
God bless

It should be noted that none of the complete Biblical texts survived last long after the Apostles were killed. This is why the Nicean Council met. They were told to gather all the remaining fragments of the scriptures and get the religion back in order. They did the best they could, but the entirety of Jesus' gospel was lost. We were left with pieces. This is why we have so many denominations today.
It should be noted that few of the writers of the Bible were scholars. They were simple tradesmen. The one who was a Bible (Torah) Scholar, Saul of Tarsus, firmly believed that Christians were a dangerous cult. He had to be blinded to see the light.
So, being a Bible Scholar doesn't really mean much if it leads you down a false path. In his case, the scholar was wrong, and the uneducated tradesmen were right.

I don't think that it is scholars that dictate right religion.
Each scholar is trained in his own religion, and will tend to follow the tenets of that religion, especially if they wish to have the approval of their peers.
A scholar who thinks outside of the theological "box" of his religion is likely to be harshly criticized.
As a Christian, I weigh the words of scholars against what I read in the Bible itself. The scholars are not the touchstone for me, the Bible is.
But that also calls for genuine familiarity with the Bible on my part, so that I can discern the "ring" of the truth, and distinguish that from falsehood.
I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, not because of the approval of so-called scholars, many of which are biased against my religion due to their own theologies, but because I find it to be harmonious with Bible truth.

They are all wrong. God endorses no religion. That's all made up and baloney. God wrote no books or spoke to nobody. They all evolved from pagan beliefs and a need to connect with a higher power.

The Protestants are the closest to being correct. Everyone else is further from the truth than the Protestants.

None of them are perfect as they all made up of people, if any are tolerent, then that would be the best one, the least tolerant are the worst one. Religion has hurt a lot of people in the name of make believe.

The churches emphasize different things, usually to an extreme point. Pentecostal for instance emphasize speaking in tongues, but they carry it to an extreme point and say you MUST be able to speak in tongues to be a believer.
Others emphasize baptism, but say you MUST be FULLY baptized to be saved
Others emphasize communion
Others emphasize doing good works
Others emphasize God's grace
They all all emphasizing something rooted in scripture.

"religious scholar" & "right" are a contradiction in terms...............unless you're talking about "right wing", which would seem to cover most.
