why do grown mean date young girls instead of grown women their own age?

Because they're stupid and have no sense of propriety. Also the media propagates this view point as okay. Think of the movie entrapment, where Sean Connery hooks up with Catherine Zeta-Jones. You would never see a mainstream movie where a much older woman hooks up with some young guy. It is a double-standard.

Sometimes it's because older women can be more set in their ways. Young women can sometimes appreciate an older man and are more likely to defer to them. Some women fall into as "Daddy replacement " trap...relationships are usually based on how you feel with the person you are with.....young or old....Good luck...
