The Bible declares that "Whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life". John 3:15

He that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only son of God. John 3:18.

Why do Atheist choose death over life especially when Jesus died on the Cross so that all may live eternally with him? All one has to do is personally accept what Christ has done, confess their sins and receive him as Lord and Saviour.

Salvation is a free gift from God. Why is this important step of faith so difficult for Atheists to make? God Loves us and desires to give us a hope and an eternal future.

Salvation is so simple. All you have to do is reach out and say "Yes Lord" I belong with you.

Please Read Eph6:10-19 & 2Cor10:3-6 in The Amplified Bible. I Am a born again Christian{click dad&son & read if you wish).

The Word of God says that the weapons of our{Christians) warfare are not carnal, or of the flesh [we love our enemies {those opposing the gospel) and we pray for those who persecute us], but our weapons are mightly through God for the pulling down of the strongholds of satan[we through putting on the full armor of God on, esp. prayer - praying for those who are not "yet" born again Christians] and we take [our] every thought into captivity to the obediance of Christ Jesus [the Word of God] - the Messiah, the Annointed One of God.
2 Cor 10:3-5 amplified.
Unbelievers have spiritual and mental cataracts over their eyes, which prevent them from receiving Jesus by Faith.
They are caused by {Eph 6:10-12)
demonic spirits. It is our {Christians) responsibility to pray for unbelievers before sharing the gospel with them. Then after planting the seeds of the Gospel in love, allow the Holy Spirit to take over. It is the Holy Spirit who softens a persons heart enough, so that He can convict them of their sin of unbelief, so they clearly see their need for Jesus Christ. We are to continue to pray for those we have shared the gospel with{even those over the internet which we shared the truth of the gospel with), until they are saved - receive Jesus by faith, as Lord and Savior.
I do encourage you to continue to share the gospel with those who are not "yet" saved.
This is every Christians calling in Life.
Please kindly receive this, from a brother in Christ - in love. Apologize if I have offended you. Love in Christ Jesus.

From: dad&son.

P.S. - just curious - Have you read the book
"The Pursuit of Holiness" by: Jerry Bridges
It is such an excellent encouraging book for all Christians to read - the book is based on Jesus' prayer to God the Father in Jn 17:17 amplified bible.
Just finished reading/studying this most encouraging book - for the third time.

Eternal death? Why? Is there such thing as a "temporary" death. Can I die for a minute, please? Of course, not. I know that if I die I die forever. Eternal death - wow - that's something new to think about. If there is eternal death, there has to be temporary death, but there is not.

Eternal life? Now, what is that? There can be no such thing. Imagine someone live forever: they see the same things over and over and eventually they get tired of everything. However, they are eternal and they have to suffer things forever... What the nonsense? Whoever made that up??? Oh, I get it – it’s a bribe. It is done so that everybody will take 1/10th of what they possess and give it to the church. Then they’ll have so-called “eternal life”. Am I wrong? That’s what many people have been told.

“Eternal life” – what a fine bribe. Should I fall for it? Let me think… Not. Where is my guarantee? The duck tales is it? No, I don’t believe in duck tales.

I am an atheist, and I do not choose any of the above choices you have presented.

You must try and step outside of yourself and consider other people's perspective once in a while. It used to be common courtesy, and was called being considerate at one time.

For most atheists, the bible is not truth, and there is no heaven, hell, god, or satan. So all your biblical choices are irrelevant. Do you understand this point?

Christian salvation is no free gift. A free gift does not have obligations attached to it to receive the reward. Christian salvation has obligations ("all you have to do is reach out and say....."), thus it is an offer, and not a gift.

Atheists like me do not value salvation offers. It demands that we have faith in gods. I am a rational person, and I do not believe in things that have no evidence to support their existence.

We don't care what the bible says, because it's a collection of fairy tales and myths for which there is no evidence of any kind of truthfulness.

We don't choose "eternal death with Satan" any more than you choose "eternal life with god" -- neither god nor satan exist, so there's no choice to be made. You, however, have apparently chosen to believe in fairy tales and myths which are absolutely false, rather than choosing to think rationally and logically. Now, who's made the wiser choice? :)

Peace.

Why does this question have to asked almost every single day and sometimes several times a day? All you are doing is trying to shove your beliefs down other people throats and are actually hurting your chances of converting someone.

The vast majority of Atheists and Pagans use to be christians. We know what the bible says and choose to not pick and choose the little parts we want to cram down peoples throats. We look at the whole bible and find it lacking.

Actually as an atheist I don't choose eternal death with Satan. To do that would mean that I believe in Satan and to believe in Satan would also be to believe in God. Your icons of Good and Evil (God and Satan) go hand in hand. Since I do not believe in God I therefore do not believe in Satan either.

The better question would be why do you feel the need to pretend you are God and judge others based on their believes?

Atheists, like so many of the rest of us, don't feel any need to be saved from anything. We don't believe in Hell, Heaven, Christ or the need for salvation, we don't even believe in sin. Atheists, pagans, heathens, and a whole host of others have no desire to live for the afterlife. We try to be good people in this life and let the next life take care of itself. I don't believe in your Lord. If I did, he would have alot to answer for.

Quoting the bible to an Atheist is an overwhelmingly inadequate argument.. Atheists do not believe in the Bible... Furthermore Atheists do not believe in heaven, hell, god or Satan...

If someone who does not believe the bible or that there is a heaven, hell, god, or Satan professes belief isn't that hypocrisy? Are you encouraging hypocrisy?

Your argument holds water worse than a sieve...

Well, they don't believe in God so they also don't believe in satan. they believe in themselves. They are are ignorant of the TRUTH. And the Spirit of God does not dwell in them. The message of the cross is foolishness to them. They would try and reason or use logic to understand. They live in darkness and don't even know it. They are too self-absorbed (prideful) to recieve this free gift of God. They think that they are smarter than God. They believe that God should act the way they "Think" a God should, based on human reasoning. That is why they refuse to recieve His gift. It is quite a shame:(

we dont, we chose finite life on earth. satan is a concept on christianity, atheists dont beleive in satan either.

p.s. i dont feel i need to be salvated, jesus does not absolve your sins, YOU are responsible for how you live your life, the sins you commit and the result these sins bear. jesus is not a get out of jail free card.
