I am thinking of getting a George Foreman grill, and I was wondering if they are able to grill paninis?

If you're just talking about a little meat and cheese, between two sandwich slices of bread, that's do-able. But the sandwich can only be about an inch tall. If you make it taller by using lettuce and tomatoes, or you try to use a thick rustic bread, it will be too tall, and the ingredients will squeeze out the front. It's because of the way the george foreman grill closes. It doesn't let you put really thick stuff in it. Plus it's on an angle, so the sandwich is even more likely to slide apart.

There's lots of other quality grills made by other companies, and one might actually be able to do paninis too. Plus they're probably less expensive.

Yes! It works really well. :)
It's great for hot ham and cheese or just plain grilled cheese as well.
