Heathrow is an outer suburb of London because although its still used as an address Middlesex doesnt officialy exist.

Gatwick: West Sussex and Surrey.
Heathrow: Middlesex, Hampshire and Surrey.

Both airports service London and are connected to the city by rail or bus.

While I think the information was interesting, I'm not sure most people need the postcodes for airports but I could be wrong.

Thinpinblue is correct except that Middlsex DOES exist but is not used as far as Heathrow is concerned.Spot the Americans! COUNTY ,not COUNTRY!
