Sounds like you could have a sebaceous cyst. Try not to pop it, as tempting as it is -- 'cause as you know, it's not gonna help anyway. So.......... try warm moist compresses on it -- try Dr Murad's Acne Spot Treatment (get it from Sephora) -- and use concealer to mask the red.

It will take time -- unfortunately, spots that don't pop are just going to take time, but you can speed it along with the tips above!

Get a bottle of Tea Tree Oil. It's at Walmart, drugstores and Health Food Stores (in the vitamin section). You have an infection, and this will get rid of the infection, and clear up your zit very quickly. Wash your face with soap and water 2 to 3 times daily. Apply the oil directly to the zit 2 to 3 times daily. You will see improvement pretty quickly. Please do not pick or squeeze this zit or you'll really spread infection

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

DON'T POP IT!!!!!
It can leave a scar, which you DON'T want.
Clean it and keep it clear of oils. also, don't touch it and try to get the least amount of activity in, sweat can be a big cause of zits!

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

I agree with Sidney. Sounds like a cyst but as strange as it sounds it could be a bug bite. My daughter had something similar close to her eye. We both thought it was a cyst but the doctor said it was a bug bite. If Sidney's suggestion doesn't help, you may need a doctor to check it out for you. Good luck and hands off.

It's probably not made it's way to the surface of the skin yet. If you DO decide to pop it, make sure you wash your face and hands afterwards to prevent spreading the bacteria!
