No, I don't think it is.
While some people might feel comfortable dating people much older than them, I'm sure that's not healthy when one of the partners is as young as your friend.
At 18, people's views are still being formed and their emotions are subject to change, so your friend might get hurt by getting involved in a relationship with a much older man, who almost surely has a different mindset and experience to your friend.
Tell your friend she should wait at least until she's about 30, before she starts to consider dating men who are 20 years older than her.

I think that's sick!! He's probably near her parents age. In my opinion older men date young women. So that they can train them into want they want them to be. Same thing as in women dating young men. They figure they can't teach a old dog new tricks. So they get puppies. Get where I'am coming from.

I think its okay just as long as their happy and they love each other. it doznt matter the age difference. when my cousin was 19 she dated a 48 year old. they loved each other SO much that they ended up getting married and had 5 children. he also got rich.

it's legal. as far as being "ok" it's up to the consenting adults involved. Maturity level should play a role...is she mature enough, or does this guy fulfill some sort of "father figure" role in her life?

personally i would prefer if the lady was 20 plus --- as long as she is over the age of consent where you are there is nothing to stop them ---- as long as they truly care for each other the age difference is not really a factor
