I'm a Chicago native and I like Mustard's Last Stand at Unviersity and Evans by DU. It's a good dive/hole in the wall hot dog place, just like you would find anywhere in Chicago.

Chicago style on West Colfax .I think it's West of Federal but East of Wadsworth. Than there's Chicago Jims at Kipling and Chatfield in the shopping center next to the Garlic Knot

Never knew hot dogs were a "gourmet" item.
Well, on the other hand, Fish heads are considered gourmat
also, and taste pretty much the same. Having fish in your diet
Is better for your health.
