Most DVD player/recorders have a built in manufacturers 'hack' that allow the unit to be made multi-regional. These codes can usually be found on the manufacturer's website.
The exceptions are the cheapie supermarket and Argos specials, which can't be hacked (which is one of the reasons why they are cheap...).

sorry to say it, but there is no code that can make any dvd player multi regional - all those you find on the internet are fakies and the only way to make the dvd player multi-regional would be to take it apart and change it internally. if you don't trust me, wait for someone to put up a code as an answer and try it; i swear it will not work.
