You should go with a 17" or 18" mountain bike for your height. I just bought one for my son who is your height. The local bike shop will fit you for your bike if they are a good shop. Happy riding!

Go to your local bike shop and get fitted. A height measurement is hardly enough information to suggest a size! Fit is crucial to having a comfortable bike and most shops will fit for free. They can also make suggestions as to what bike would be a good fit.

Good luck!

Some mountain bikes have sizes by numbers in the chart ---yours can be size 17" or 18" -----others would be more general----so it would be MEDIUM that would be recommendable. ( other sizes include XS ( extra small) and extra large XL). Its best you test drive a bike of your preferred size ( especially rigs with full suspension) and 'feel' its power!
