I had to take it once for nerve pain, but it didn't do anything for me. It is a drug used to treat seizures and nerve pain after a shingles outbreak.
Common side effects include, extremity swelling, dizziness, constipation, etc.
They're just common side effects and nothing to be concerned about.

Lisa, I've been using Neurontin for almost five years. I haven't noticed any adverse side affects. The greatest benefit I can see is the non narcotic nature of the drug. No withdraw.

I had no side effects while using neurontin. It simply was not very effective for my problem.
