I watched this film recently, in it there's a part where the people who've died have a choice to go back and be born again. If when we die such a choice exists, would you or not and why?

I always felt that ending was wrong and I'll wager some studio pod thought that one up.

Had I been producer/director I would have ended it in the broke down house as it made a better point.

A husband gives up life in heaven to remain in hell with his wife.

I felt that gives a stronger statement of commitement.

That turn would have made it a serious movie with a statement, instead of a made for TV movie with a happy Poltiically Correct ending.

I think City of Angels did it better. He gave up enternity for love and when love died he decided to accept and experience life for all it has to offer. He decided to live on.

He made his choice. He chose life. And then he had to make the best out of his own choice.

If indeed I have a choice then I certainly would NOT come back. I don't see the point - evil seems to control this world and too few good people are willing to stand up for others.

I would

not sure if this life's lessons I would still retain

buddists believe once you learn the lessons you were supposed to, life ends, even if suicide

LOVE that movie, it is what you make it

seeing there is no god/heaven/hell and suffering is what we do personally to self/others, I would live much more at peace and just love and help others because it's the right thing to do

seeing others as part of self makes this awareness possible

There is, indeed, such a choice, I, and many, many others are here now, in this moment because we 'volunteered' to come back again, to help. Many who come here get 'lost' in the illusion of it all, and many of us try to show that it is just that, a self-created illusion of experience.

Life here is hard in ,many ways, hard to understand in even more, but the potentialities to overcome the hardships and shine are like no other realm.

That movie is one of my favourites, this planet is one of my favourites, and this moment is one of my favourites, in fact, they all are ! :-)))

I would and have done so (reincarnated) as many times as I have. Why would I want to again ? Because I might have some more karma and darma to tend to. Also...maybe for increased soul growth...and to touch others lives as they move on their own soul paths journey.

For now...I'm here...and all is as it should be . . . The Light is seen brighter. ~ ~ Smiles ~ ~

No. Read Divine Providence by Emanuel Swedenborg. We are reformed and regenerated by an internal and an external way at the same time. When the external passes, reformation and regeneration stops.

Depends on the alternative option.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Notice that until they are born again, a person cannot even see the kingdom of God.

Yes I think I might give life another go. I haven't quite figured it all out yet and one more lifetime might do it for me.
